President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced that 82 percent of Mexican families receive direct support from the Government of Mexico through the Wellness Programs, with an investment this year amounting to nearly 836 billion pesos. She emphasized that most of these programs are now enshrined as constitutional rights, solidifying the hallmark of the Fourth Transformation and Mexican Humanism.

During her morning press conference, Sheinbaum indicated that next year, an investment close to one trillion pesos—equivalent to nearly three percent of the GDP—is projected, aiming to expand the coverage of programs such as the Women’s Wellness Pension for Mexican women aged 60 to 64 and scholarships for primary school children. «We are reaching more families and will fulfill our commitments to Mexican women,» she stated.

The Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, detailed that there are currently 16.1 million beneficiaries, and that 90.957 billion pesos are allocated for this two-month period alone. In June, 221,000 elderly individuals were added to the Older Adults Pension, and 159,000 women joined the Women’s Wellness Pension. Additionally, over one million home visits have been conducted through the House-to-House Health program, and more than 8,000 committees have been established in clinics under the Our Clinic program.

Carlos Torres Rosas, Technical Secretary of the Presidential Cabinet, reported that over 418 billion pesos of the 2025 allocated budget have already been utilized, with a goal to reach 33 million beneficiaries. Among the most impactful programs are Youth Building the Future, Production for Wellness, Sowing Life, Our School, Fertilizers for Wellness, among others. Furthermore, 6,550 cards have been distributed to strengthen the Wellness Stores, and 36,304 cards have been issued to migrants through the Mexico Embraces You initiative.
