The President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, stated that the Welfare Scholarships contribute to generating equality and improving educational conditions by being distributed universally across all school levels, benefiting 12,876,579 students nationwide.

During the morning press conference “Las mañaneras del pueblo,” the federal president emphasized that the goal is for all girls and boys to arrive at school under equal conditions, reducing inequalities from the moment they enter the education system.

She underscored that, through a social investment of 23,620,678,600 pesos, these supports provide students with resources for school supplies, uniforms, and basic needs, contributing to improved academic performance.

The Head of the Federal Executive noted that the universal scholarship policy is part of the Welfare Programs promoted by her administration, which are financed with public resources directly allocated to the population.

For her part, the National Coordinator of Welfare Scholarships, Julio César León Trujillo, reported on the distribution of support across basic, upper secondary, and higher education levels, as well as progress in the delivery of cards and the upcoming disbursement of funds.
