President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo led the delivery of Welfare Program cards in Singuilucan, Hidalgo, where she emphasized that the Government of Mexico maintains its central focus on serving the people and defending national sovereignty.
During the event, the president highlighted that more than 42 million Mexicans currently receive support through these programs, of which 13 million correspond to older adults, a right that, she noted, is enshrined in the Constitution.
In her message, she stated that her administration is promoting a profound transformation based on close ties between government and citizens, while also highlighting the creation of new programs such as the Women’s Welfare Pension, Salud Casa por Casa, and the Rita Cetina Scholarship, the latter aimed at supporting secondary school students and, soon, primary school students.
She also announced the upcoming inauguration of the “Felipe Ángeles” Train on its Lechería–Felipe Ángeles International Airport segment, as well as actions to improve drinking water services for people affected by heavy rains in the state.
Meanwhile, federal and state authorities reported on investments in social programs and additional projects in Hidalgo, where nearly 5 billion pesos will be allocated to 100 initiatives benefiting various sectors of the population.
