President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo conducted an inspection of the IMSS-Bienestar Health Center in the municipality of Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where she confirmed an 80 percent supply of medicines as part of the “Rutas de la Salud” program.

During her visit, the federal president explained that the remaining 20 percent of pending medicines is due to an issue with a supplier, a situation that will be addressed and resolved in the coming days.

Sheinbaum Pardo detailed that the shortage of some supplies is being reviewed in coordination with the Director General of IMSS-Bienestar, with the goal of ensuring full delivery of medical supplies to health facilities.

She also reported that the Government of Mexico is working on hiring medical specialists in order to strengthen care in health centers and improve service coverage for the population.

Finally, she reiterated that these actions are part of the commitment to consolidate a more efficient and closer healthcare system, especially in regions with the greatest need for medical attention.
