President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced a significant decrease in intentional homicides in Mexico, attributing this progress to the implementation of the National Security Strategy. Preliminary data indicates that from September 2024 to March 2025, the daily average of homicides dropped by 22.4%, decreasing from 86.9 to 67.4 victims per day. - 15,887 arrests for high-impact crimes.
- Seizure of over 8,000 firearms.
